Shipping costs

I purchased a few small set screws that could have been easily mailed in a small envelope via USPS. The lowest cost shipping was half the price of my purchase at $12 for priority USPS mail to Atlanta, Ga. There was no priority needed so I called support to question this, but did not get much understanding. There must be a lower cost mailing option for a few set screws. I am able to mail oil samples to Blackstone labs for under $8.

Hose clamp upgrades

I’ve found two things concerning hose clamps. First, add PYI jackets to the tails. Enough with the blood shed. Second, loosen each clamp on your boat, add some Lanocote to the worm drive using a toothpick and then retighten. Inspect each clamp as you go for corrosion and notice how much smoother it snugs back up on the hose. The little things can make a difference...
